Eyelid surgery, technically known as blepharoplasty, is a procedure that removes fat and excess skin and tissue from lowed and upper eyelids.
It can correct fallen upper eyelids and bags under the eyes – issues that make us look older and more tired than we really are. In some cases they may interfere with our vision.
However, blepharoplasty does not help with “crow’s feet”, other wrinkles and fallen eyebrows. Other facial aesthetic procedures can be performed with eyelid surgery, such as facial lifting.
